An ideal choice if you want to replace your hot-stamp coder with a digital solution that is economical and easy to operate.
The printer is simple to maintain and uses the latest technology. Replacing transfer ribbon is fast and the printer’s compact design makes it easy to integrate it into your production line.
The print head is made up of a series of semi-conductors that – when energised with electrical current – become instantly hot (and cool again), thereby transferring ink from the thermal transfer film to the stretch wrap or labels to form prints.
The printing width is 32 mm and the dpi is 200.
If the production line runs intermittently, the printing height is 47 mm and the speed is 50–300 mm/sec.
If the production line runs continuously, the printing height is 100 mm and the speed is 40–500 mm/sec.
Kestrel is available in two models: right-hand and left-hand execution. It is ideal for labelling products of various sizes and shapes, and it is often used in small production processes in the food industry.
The printer is easy to operate via the touchscreen and it is easy to maintain because it has no wearing parts. And no compressed air is needed. The print film is fast to replace, and it can handle 700 m rolls. It also has a built-in ribbon-save function.
You can select prints from a database or design your own layout using CLARiSOFT® or NiceLabel software, for instance. The printer can handle tests, batch numbers, logos, graphics, barcodes and dates.
