Hawk is an ideal solution if you’re aiming for high performance, good, stable quality and low operating costs. The printer runs without compressed air.
Your design is transferred to the product by the thermal transfer printer’s print head emitting heat to the print film.
You can select prints from a database, and you can label the products with fixed, variable and merged texts, time and date, barcodes and graphics, and the equipment is ideal for printing on stretch wrap, labels, bags, etc. The equipment is popular in the food, confectionery and coffee sectors, for instance.
Printing area: 53 x 75 mm. (intermittent), or 53 x 300 mm. (continuous) – and you get 300 dpi.
The Hawk can print at speeds from 0–1000 mm/s (60 m/min.), making it mountable on more packing machines than other thermal transfer printers.
The printer features iAssure technology which compares used transfer ribbon to the print layout to ensure that printing quality is up to par. The printer emits an alarm if a print is damaged, e.g. if the print head is worn or the film wrinkles, and it can handle film rolls of up to 1200 m. This maximises your utilisation of the print film at a minimal price per print thus lowering your operating costs.
The simple film-cassette design ensures fast and easy film replacement, and the printer has a reliable, tried-and-tested clutchless ribbon drive. It can be monitored via a network connection and its combination of properties results in high uptime.
We advise you to design your prints with NiceLabel or CLARiSOFT® software, for instance.
The printer is easy to integrate into your production line and is available in right-hand and left-hand execution. Print jobs are transferred to the printer via a network cable or thumb drive and the touchscreen makes it easy to operate.
