The thermal transfer printer excels in most labelling tasks because it prints on stretch wrap, bags and labels. Its compact design makes it well-suited for tight spaces. And the control screen does not have to be situated near the printer unit.
It is available in both right-hand and left-hand execution and there are several different models to choose from, all of which print at 300 dpi. Speeds of up to 750 mm/sec. and 250 prints/min.
Continuous:

You can select designs from a database, and the printer can print fixed, variable and merged texts, barcodes, date and time, as well as graphics which are easy to design with CLARiSOFT® or NiceLabel software.
Once the transfer ribbon has been mounted, the print head – comprising a series of semi-conductors that become instantly hot and cold again – transfers the ink from the thermal transfer printer to the labels, forming prints.
The printer double-checks its own quality by comparing used transfer ribbon to the print job and notifies you if anything needs adjusting/replacing. You can use print-film rolls of 1,200 m to maximise uptime, and the printer sees to it that film use is optimised.
The printer has a reliable, clutchless ribbon drive and, because the print head is the only wearing part, maintenance costs are minimal. The printer can be monitored via your network, and the simple cassette design ensures fast replacement of transfer ribbon.
