How it works.

Bundles are loaded from the shrink tunnel, or manually, onto the Elmoprint SDA servo-driven indexing conveyor, which registers and tracks each bundle’s position and status through the process
In the labelling station, a Valentin print/apply unit prints and tamps the label onto the bundle side, and a sponge pressure pad presses it firmly onto the curved shrink-wrapped surface
An industrial vision system then verifies the barcode; approved bundles continue downstream while rejects are automatically diverted to a collection bin

Technology spotlight – Print/apply cycle with vision verification.

To hold full production speed, the unit prints the next label immediately after application and holds it ready on the vacuum pad for the next bundle. Combined with adjustable side guides for centred placement and an automatic drop gate ahead of the print/apply conveyor, the line keeps running — and keeps every label traceable — even through downstream stops.
